Frequently Asked Questions

WHAT SHOULD I BRING WITH ME?

You will need swimwear, plenty of drinking water, 2 towels (one to sit on in the sauna and one for drying off)

We advise to bring warm clothing to change into after sauna for the colder months and appropriate beach footwear.

Please remove any metal jewellery and ensure that your swimwear has no metal fasteners as these will get very hot and can burn.  We would also advise you to only bring essentials with you, especially valuables.

What do I have to wear?

How many can come in the sauna if it is exclusively booked?

If you are booking a communal session's swimwear is compulsory.   Please be aware that people can see in through the glass dome and the sauna operator will need to pop in from time to time to check on the stove.  We do recommend a bathing suit. This is your experience, and you should be as comfortable as possible. If you prefer to wear a t-shirt, wrap or robe that is up to you.

The sauna seats 10 people.  In the communal sauna we will not have more than 9 people in the sauna. If you are booking the sauna privately you can bring up to 10 people.

Do I stay in the sauna the whole time?

No. We recommend 3-15minutes in the sauna at a time. Everyone will have a different tolerance ability with the heat and listening to your body is important. We have the options of a cold plunge pool, cold showers or the sea of a way of cooling down and creating the ultimate contrast therapy experience.
